Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff Payroll Analyst, to join the Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA.

Analyst 2 for a Payroll department that provides support to various different business and staff units operating in the United States, Canada, UK and an ever expanding global presence. This Analyst should be certified at the FPC level or possess 2 or more years direct payroll experience. This position is responsible for providing payroll support for one or more business or staff units, and assist with duties in several of the following areas of expertise; multi-state payroll taxation, troubleshooting complex payroll issues, payroll problem resolution, W-2 corrections, stale checks and escheatment.

As the Payroll Analyst 2, here's the work you'll do:

* Hands on payroll processing, transactional support for several tasks listed above

* Liase with business and staff unit employees and build mutually beneficial relationships. Work together with them to identify areas for process and procedural improvements and work through issues as necessary

* Comply with and administer Data Privacy policies, principles and procedures. Maintains customer and employee confidence and protects operations by ensuring the minimal, secure, approved, responsible, and confidential handling of data, as well as breach notification.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

* Expert in Multi-state Payroll processes and procedures

* Proven analytical ability for problem resolution and risk mitigation tactics

* Emerging leadership skills

* Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service attitude and acumen.

And if you have these qualifications:

* Great attitude and team player.

* Successful completion of drug and background screening process.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $57,200 - $ 85,800 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
