**_As a member of the Analytical Development group, this position is responsible for performing GLP method validation and GLP analytical assay support for early-stage research programs. The individual will collaborate with Early Research Process Development, Gene Therapy Research, and additional internal and external stakeholders to support nonclinical GLP studies._**
**Type:** Contract 1+ year
**Pay:** $25-$30/hr
**Shift:** Monday-Friday 1 st shift

**Analytical Research Associate:**
+ Perform method validation and analytical testing to support testing of AAV based gene therapy products
+ Perform In Vitro Potency, Immunoassays, Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR), Droplet Digital PCR (ddPCR), and additional AAV characterization assays
+ Work seamlessly with cross-functional stakeholders
+ Ensure that scientific and technical challenges are resolved in a timely manner
+ Assist in authoring and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documents, protocols, methods, and reports
+ Perform routine data analysis for use in presentations, publications, and internal reports
+ Maintain all appropriate laboratory records
+ Contribute to a safe, efficient, and effective environment with personal accountability
+ Perform other related duties as required
**Analytical Research Associate:**
+ Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Virology, or a related scientific discipline
+ Working experience in gene therapy is a plus and regulated experience (GLP / GMP) is preferred
+ Experience with cell culture, Western Blot, qPCR, and ddPCR is desirable
+ Attention to details and strong organizational skills are a must
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
