An Analytical Lab Technician position in Charles City, Iowa is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences. In this role, you will perform daily testing of samples received from production. Timely completion of test to meet the established testing time. Following GMP documentation guidelines. Basic problem-solving skills and demonstrate trouble shooting ability. Contribute to the team's productivity goals. The colleague should have the ability to follow detailed instructions.
This is a minimum 1-year temp/contract position starting in December 2024. The work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm. The hourly pay is $ 20.00/hr.
**Position requirements:**
Testing of samples from manufacturing to ensure Quality and compliance according to all applicable assays utilizing good aseptic practices.
Maintaining testing schedules and reagent supply
Completion of documentation following cGMP guidelines
Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, instrumentation and facility
Understanding of the QC software packages used during routine work
Understanding of how to use pipettes
Preparation of media and reagents
Understanding of dilution schemes
Ability to lift approximately 20 pounds
BA/BS in Science related field or AA plus one year experience preferred (but open to High School Diploma along with experience with gathering data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.)
**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
