Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm Location: Somerset NJ Duration: 6 months Start: ASAP Education: AA preferred or high school with equivalent experience Requirements: Minimum of 2-5 years related industry experience Proficient using computer software associated with word processing and spreadsheets desirable Responsibilities: • Performs routine analytical testing assignments using judgment and initiative, may determine methods and procedures on new assignments. • Performs standard laboratory operations such as carrying and dispensing of reagents. • Accurately reads measurement markings on laboratory glassware and written instructions of at least an eight-front size with corrective lenses as necessary. Performs standard analytical activities with direction from more senior laboratory chemist. • Is responsible for cleaning glassware, preparing solutions and assisting/preparing samples. • Is responsible for adhering to laboratory SOPS, GMP regulations, and laboratory safety rules in performing all laboratory functions. • Is able to use software associated with analytical instruments. • Maintains good housekeeping of all work and storage areas. • Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the positions. Additional Requirements: * Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 10-30 pounds. #m3
