Ttle: Analytical TechnicianPlease ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00pmLocation: Somerset NJDuration: 6 monthsStart: ASAPEducation:AA preferred or high school with equivalent experienceRequirements:Minimum of 2-5 years related industry experienceProficient using computer software associated with word processing and spreadsheets desirableResponsibilities:- Performs routine analytical testing assignments using judgment and initiative, may determine methods and procedures on new assignments.- Performs standard laboratory operations such as carrying and dispensing of reagents.- Accurately reads measurement markings on laboratory glassware and written instructions of at least an eight-front size with corrective lenses as necessary. Performs standard analytical activities with direction from more senior laboratory chemist.- Is responsible for cleaning glassware, preparing solutions and assisting/preparing samples.- Is responsible for adhering to laboratory SOPS, GMP regulations, and laboratory safety rules in performing all laboratory functions.- Is able to use software associated with analytical instruments.- Maintains good housekeeping of all work and storage areas.- Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the positions.Additional Requirements:* Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 10-30 pounds.#m3
