Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a Full Stack team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain ASP.NET / MVC / C# / HTML / CSS / SQL / SSIS / Cloud solutions for assigned product lines
  • Collaborate with software quality engineers and other cross-functional teams in all phases of testing, documentation, and training
  • Execute on a technical solution with minimal guidance, creating solution prototypes, providing top quality design, and create documentation for support and understanding of code created for each initiative
  • Work as both a developer and tester to ensure proper unit and test automations are in place and documented, create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the applications life cycle, and participates in code reviews for fellow team members, as required
  • Create tickets and participate in the change control/change management discussions and processes for business unit
  • Proactively assessing and mitigating project risks from the development side to ensure timelines are met
  • Adhere to software development design standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software
  • Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment writing / decomposing user stories, participate in grooming and estimation sessions etc.
  • Continue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing, and avoiding technical debt

Requirements:

  • Expertise building ETL solutions using SSIS.
  • Expertise in writing stored procedures and SQL queries
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle management
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Version Control tools like GIT
  • Good understanding of Test-Driven Development and Behavioral Driven Development strategies and approaches
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies
  • Strong data analytics, quantitative skills, problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating data-driven business environments
  • Self-motivated, independent worker who is driven to deliver results without close management
  • Ability to communicate well and work with other developers and can foster team and peer loyalty
  • Encourages constructive design discussion with the team
  • Be able to work efficiently in a high pressured and fast pace environment
  • Excellent prioritization skills to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Sense of urgency and adherence to deliverable dates
