Overview:

As an Analytics Engineer at Trusted Tech Team, you will play a crucial role in driving business decisions through data insights. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure while ensuring seamless data delivery across multiple departments. The position involves analyzing data to uncover revenue opportunities, supporting data-driven decision-making, and leveraging advanced analytics tools to improve profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies and will proactively seek to enhance operational efficiency through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Revenue Growth & Profitability Optimization:

• Conduct audits to identify hidden revenue opportunities, optimize profits, and mitigate inefficiencies in existing business processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and business development, to ensure actions align with overall business goals.

Data Warehouse Development & Optimization:

• Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and automation pipelines that enhance the accessibility, quality, and timeliness of data across teams.

• Consolidate data from multiple sources into a single accessible platform for executive-level insights.

• Support the integration of new platforms/applications into the data warehouse for reporting and business logic optimization.

Automation, AI, and Advanced Analytics Integration:

• Automate manual processes to improve revenue control, operational efficiency, and data accuracy.

• Develop and maintain custom tools, applications, and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Support Data Science and AI initiatives, identifying opportunities for integration into business applications.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Data Solutions:

• Partner with marketing, finance, operations, and product teams to develop data-driven solutions for business challenges.

• Ensure alignment of data initiatives with broader company goals, maintaining effective communication with business leaders.

Process Improvement & Strategic Planning:

• Lead efforts to enhance data workflows and analytics reporting.

• Develop strategies for expanding data infrastructure to support future growth and new technology adoption.

• Drive changes in business processes to capture critical data points for improved reporting and analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and working with APIs.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing ETL pipelines within cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required.

• Strong understanding of business logic and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with data analytics and extracting insights for decision-making.

• Familiarity with AI systems, predictive modeling, and other advanced data-driven technologies.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives that drive business results.

• Proactive problem-solving skills with strong business acumen.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):

• Experience in building and optimizing data warehouses.

• Ability to work autonomously and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.

• Experience creating custom tools and applications that improve business processes.
