Job Description:

Newark Wayne Hospital is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician (Allied) to join our Surgical Services team on a 13-week travel contract. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the anesthesiology team by preparing equipment, assisting with procedures, and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesiology Technologist
• Previous experience in surgical or perioperative settings preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

• Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
• Assist anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of anesthesia equipment
• Follow protocols and safety standards to ensure patient safety
