Apply today and start your journey with us!\n Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure contaminated equipment is cleaned, disinfected per policy, and returned to service quickly.\nEnsure there is adequate equipment available.\nTerminal cleaning of anesthesia equipment and stocking of carts at the end of each day.\nMaintain equipment cables and supplies in workroom.\nResponsible for intra-operative blood delivery and return as per transfusion policy.\nPrompt turn over O.R. suites between cases.\nMust be able to perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.\nDeliver supplies and equipment to Professional Staff as needed immediately when called for.\nWorkroom and all areas of responsibility kept clean and neat at all times.\nPreparation of IV solutions and monitoring equipment.\nRetrieves, prepares, and appropriately distributes equipment as directed.\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nEnrolled in an anesthesia tech program or an undergraduate nursing program.\nMust demonstrate knowledge and skills to progress to Anesthesia Technician position.\n\n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)\nAct 31 Child Abuse Reporting\nAct 33 with renewal\nAct 34 with renewal\nAct 73 FBI Clearance\n\n UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
