LocumJobsOnline is working with Cynet Locums to find a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA in Michigan!About The Position**Job Title:** Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)**Job Specialty:** Anesthesia - Operating Room**Job Duration:** Permanent**Shift:** Days - Four 10-hour shifts**Guaranteed Hours:** Information not provided**Experience:** At least 3 years of experience in CRNA role preferred**License:** State of Michigan CRNA License (May also be in the process of completing final course work and waiting to take State Boards)**Certifications:**- BLS- ACLS (by time of start)- Board Certified NBCRNA (May also be in the process of completing final course work and waiting to take State Boards)**Must-Have:**- Adult and pediatric venipuncture experience- Arterial line insertion experience- Medication calculation and effects knowledge- Sterile technique proficiency- Airway maintenance experience- Administration and management of regional anesthetics**Job Description:**- Perform pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation- Prepare the OR Suite for all types of anesthesia- Administer, manage, and monitor anesthesia care during induction, maintenance, and emergence- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluation- Develop anesthesia care plans in collaboration with physicians- Provide IV sedation, monitored anesthesia care, and administer general, regional, or local anesthesia for various procedures- Accurately monitor patients and perform CPR, ventilation, or life support measures during emergencies- Manage the patient's physiological condition under anesthesia and initiate corrective actions as necessary- Assist with other departmental duties as requested**Other Duties and Responsibilities:**- Ensure safe administration of anesthesia care- Identify opportunities for improving quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency- Provide clinical support to other departments**Physical/Mental Requirements and Working Conditions:**- Exposure to stressful situations, including trauma, grief, and death- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including latex or substitutes- Able to move freely about the facility and perform job functions as outlined- Vision and hearing capabilities necessary- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk for long periods- Some exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must follow safety testing- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and maintain regular attendance- Overall dexterity required for handling, reaching, and feelingNote: New graduate candidates are accepted.
