DescriptionAnesthesia Associates of Kansas City (AAKC), is seeking a full-time hospital-based Anesthetist to work at one of the Kansas City Metro Area hospitals or surgery centers in Kansas or Missouri. Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
- Educates patients, families and staff on anesthesia aspects related to conditions and diseases. Reassures patient before procedure. Accompanies to recovery area to ensure condition satisfactory.
- Consults with staff anesthesiologist as necessary regarding patient condition.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- Valid CRNA certification required.
- Copy of the current license for the state of Kansas or Missouri
- BLS/ACLS or willing to obtain certifications.
