Job Title: Angle Roll OperatorJob DescriptionSets up and operates plate/angle roller on roll forming line to form longitudinal bends, rolls, and profiles. Candidate will set up, adjust digital dies, and operate the machine to roll shell plate to required degrees. The brand of roller is an Adobe. The candidate will check degrees with a cut-out to ensure it is bent to specifications. Operates all secondary equipment associated with the roll forming process and operates overhead cranes to handle material. If a candidate has extensive fabrication machine operator experience and is willing to train to become a roller operator, this will be acceptable, though they will not receive top pay. The candidate needs a desire to run a new machine. Experience with fab machines such as press brakes, burn tables, band saws, iron workers, punches, spear burners, shears, pipe profilers, plate rollers, and angle rollers would suffice.Hard Skillsrolling machineroller operatorsteelJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in HOUSTON, Texas.Work EnvironmentThey will be starting out on day shift and work days for 10 months, then go to night shift for 2-4 months, and then rotate back to days for 6-10 months. Day shift: 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Saturdays as needed. Second shift: 4:15 p.m. - 2:45 a.m. Monday - Friday. They will be given a $1.25 shift differential when rotated to nights. Need to be okay with working 40-70 plus hours depending on workload. Long-term position.
