JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the planning, directing and implementation of a robust and comprehensive sustained giving program for the Piedmont Augusta hub. This role will lead a traditional direct mail donor engagement program, including acquisition, retention and stewardship of donors for the PAG Foundation. This position will also work in conjunction with our Foundation partners to create, implement and manage a full-channel e-philanthropy program, including email, online, peer-to-peer, event and social media integration. This position will work in close collaboration with all four Piedmont Foundations to identify ways to efficiently execute effective and consistent annual giving campaigns. The Officer will create engagement efforts that generate a donor growth pipeline that will funnel into all aspects of fundraising, including sustaining annual gifts, major gifts, corporate partners, planned gifts, grateful patients, physicians, and employees. This position also educates new PAG employees on the employee giving program known as Count Me In. This role is responsible for creating capabilities to leverage data research of the organization's prospects, donations, and gift records for greater future engagement. Collaborates with Brand Growth and Foundation peers to develop all annual giving materials including mailings, in-facility brochures and materials, and online tools. Maintains knowledge of current events, healthcare trends and fundraising trends within the Piedmont system and healthcare in general.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in Development, Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Five (5) years of professional work experience in development, marketing, communications, or a closely

related field, to include three (3) years of directly related experience with development related activities.

Experience with a donor database system is required.

None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.

* Demonstrated attention to detail and organization required.

* Experience with research and analysis of data preferred.

* Experience with editing collateral preferred.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

* Confident and comfortable conversing with volunteer leaders, donors, administration and

prospects in both social and business surroundings.

* Ability to work with senior executives, physicians, hospital staff, volunteers, and key volunteers

from the community and corporations.

* Leadership skills, initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions.
