Job DescriptionDepartment: AnodizingJob Title: Head RackerReports To: Team Leader and Anodizing Management Team Shift/Hours: 7am-7 pm (Rotating dayshift) Starting Pay: $20.35 per hourWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Anodizing Head Racker in the aluminum manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to anodizing processes, ensuring the production of high-quality finished products.As an Anodizing Head Racker, you will play a vital role in our production line, particularly in the anodizing department. You will be responsible for racking aluminum parts onto appropriate racks, ensuring that they are properly prepared for the anodizing process. Additionally, you will monitor the anodizing tanks, maintaining process control and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of anodizing processes and possess excellent attention to detail. You should also be familiar with safety procedures and be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are also essential for success in this position.What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Rack aluminum parts onto appropriate racks for anodizing.
- Inspect racks to ensure proper loading and secure positioning of parts.
- Monitor and maintain anodizing tanks, ensuring proper chemical levels and process parameters.
- Troubleshoot anodizing process issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of anodizing solutions and chemicals.
- Perform regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
What You Will Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in anodizing or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of anodizing processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
