This position is located in our Pasadena, TX facility.

Responsibilities of the ANSI Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:

* Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, fabricate, paint, package/prep API centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment

* Safely load, unload, and move equipment as needed

Qualifications of the ANSI Pump Mechanic include, but are not limited to:

* 5 years of experience working in a pump repair facility with previous experience repairing API centrifugal pumps and other related rotating equipment

* Experience repairing IPM pumps, creating details, and making technical decisions

* In-depth understanding of API 610, and other applicable standards

* Ability to read pump sectional, machine drawings, and OEM pump manuals

* Disassembly, inspection, ability to write up a detailed rotating equipment report to all necessary repairs and or replacement parts needed, Ex: assembly prep, assembly, pneumatic pressure testing of assembled equipment, painting of finished repair and final inspection

* Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools

* Experience with pneumatic and hydrostatic testing of parts and equipment

* Ability to read and understand mechanical seal drawings, mechanical seal removal, installation, and pneumatic pressure testing preferred

* Ability to work with multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment

* Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision

* Background check, physical, and drug test required

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions: Must be able to work in a shop environment without AC and heat, with possible exposure to dirt, heat, and noise.

Training/Certifications: N/A

Shift Time/Overtime: 6:00 am to 6:30 pm CDT, must be able to work OT hours as required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
