The pay rate is $30.79 is per hourKey Accountabilities Emergency Response (i.e. Gas leaks, CO, No Gas). Emergency Markouts, as current practice. Leak Investigation. Turn On & Off. Change/remove/set meter. Inspect Regulator. Residential and Commercial Fitting work & associated regulator work. Investigate metering conditions. Clear gas service freeze ups & blockages (when trained). Storm restoration. Perform all duties of lower classification.Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Must have good mechanical aptitude and ability, high degree of dependability, and capable of exercising good judgment. Must pass Company physical and qualifying tests. Must have Massachusetts Driver's License and be in good physical condition. Must be an approved driver of Company trucks. This position is a covered classification under D.O.T. Anti-Drug-Alcohol program regulations and candidates are required to pass a drug test.More InformationThe pay rate is $30.79 is per hourPlease be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ( DOT ) covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.Many of the terms and conditions of employment for this position are defined by a collective bargaining agreement that the Company has with a local union.
