EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an AOI-Visual Inspector to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description/Functions:
The position of AOI-Visual Inspector is responsible for performing the function of operating and/or programming of surface mount AOI equipment.
Operating AOI machine
Performing visual inspection of SMT assemblies
Cross trained for in-process and final inspection as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
High School degree or equivalent
Experience with computer software is highly desirable
Six months or more experience with SMT functions or automated equipment is highly desirable. Further on the job training will be provided
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is preferred
Component identification, ability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes
Must be able to read assembly documentation
Work well with others as a team
Strong attention to detail and neatness
Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
Ability to follow established ISO processes
Working Conditions:
Electronics Assembly Manufacturing environment.
Overtime is expected when necessary
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
