LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable company based in Yardley, PA. We are in search of an AP Administrator for a contract to hire position. Pay: $23-$26/hr. Job Description: Accounts Payable Administrator Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Administrator will assist with accounting tasks related to processing Accounts Payable (AP) for all plant, administrative, and corporate offices within the Company. This role reports directly to the Corporate Operational Accounting Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter data for 400-500 invoices per week.
- Code invoices to the appropriate GL account, department, and location.
- Assist with managing multiple accounts payable email inboxes.
- Route invoices to the appropriate personnel.
- Assess use tax on invoices.
- Process all payments associated with the weekly AP check run and handle vendor payment status inquiries.
- Verify vendor statements.
- Create new vendor accounts and complete credit applications as needed.
- Maintain vendor certificates of insurance and contact vendors with expiring certificates.
- Serve as a backup for the Senior Accounts Payable Accountant.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of using a Chart of Accounts.
- Preferred: Experience with NetSuite.
- Preferred: Associates, Technical Degree, or college background in Accounting.
