Job Title: App Support Technician Salary: $60-$70k - paid hourly can work overtime, discretionary bonus it changes based on performance and company performance Office Status: Hybrid Schedule (3/2)
- Houston, TX, Midland, TX, or Casper, WY locations only
Travel: Maybe once a quarter - 10-15% to site locations (North Dakota, Wyoming, Texas locations, Colorado, New Mexico) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical assistance in training and mentoring professional staff on matters related to assigned area
- Perform testing and troubleshooting problems within two platforms of e-ticketing while acting as a liaison between end users, the development team as well as the IT department
- Communicate with field employees, management, and sales with understanding from an operational standpoint as well as the connection to the financial side
- Tracks and documents change in functional and business specifications while writing detailed procedures that can be easily understood by end-users
- Identifies opportunities for improving business processes in partnership with process owners and management through operational applications
- Complies with Corporate IT processes as well as maintains compliance with Financial Controls
- Travels 10%
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with functional/business integration between the operational demands and the E-Ticketing with all lines of Business
- Strong Interpersonal relationship skills and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify/define technology solutions delivering required business capabilities
- Knowledge of effective testing practices
- Ability to effectively utilize available tools and resources (internal and external) to resolve issues
- Demonstrate experience in Oilfield Services & Equipment or Oil & Gas Industries
- Dynamics NAV
- User Training (Creating how-to guides and training a classroom, one on one training)
COMPUTER
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on MS Excel (Outlook, Word, Excel)
