Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Design Development
- Create unique, on-trend designs for children's and infant apparel, including prints, patterns, and colorways.
- Develop design concepts from initial sketches to final products, ensuring creativity and functionality are balanced.
CAD & Line Sheets
- Create accurate and detailed CADs for all styles, working within the brand's design direction.
- Prepare line sheets with technical specifications, fabric details, color options, and style descriptions to present to sales and production teams.
- Ensure all design details are clearly communicated in line sheets and CADs, making them suitable for both internal teams and potential buyers.
Packaging Design
- Design and develop creative, on-brand packaging solutions for finished products, including hangtags, labels, and any other necessary product packaging.
- Ensure that packaging aligns with the brand's identity and enhances the customer experience.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with factories to communicate design, follow up on samples etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure designs are well-represented in promotional materials and sales presentations.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends in children's fashion and competitor activity to ensure the brand remains competitive.
-Create detailed Tech Packs. Follow up with factories on sizing, specs, and color approvals.

Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software.
- Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and technical aspects of apparel design.
- Knowledge of trends in children's fashion and an eye for age-appropriate, functional designs.
