The Press Operatorwill understand and maintain quality standards while keeping up with production expectations as well ashelpwith unloading, stacking or assist in other departments as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Safely and properly operate controlboxLoad shirts on the press accurately for specifiedplacementMonitor shirts being unloaded by the Press Assistant forqualityMake sure print is consistent throughout the printrunTroubleshoot any issues that arise throughout the printrunMake necessaryadjustmentsMake sure press crew is achieving daily numbers while maintainingqualityHelping in other departments as neededSET-UP AND BREAKDOWN OF PRESSES:Read spec sheets to determine screensequenceSet-up/Line-up screens and register themproperlyUse proper squeegees/flood bars for each printjobAdd correctinksFill outthe approvalcheck listaccuratelyPress Clean-upEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GEDSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Detail orientedOral communication skillsReading comprehensionProfessionalismTime managementAbility to detect colorDexterity skillsWritten Communication skillsOrganizational skillsEnvironmental Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
