Great role for an Appellate Attorney with 2-5 years experience in Litigation. The ideal candidate will have NY bar and varied Litigation experience. An interest in writing and strengths in: drafting briefs, pleadings, discovery, depositions, handling factual and legal issues are important for this role.
Job Description
As Appellate Associate Key Responsibilities include:
- Research and writing, familiar with appellate rules
- Drafting and arguing appeals
- Motions practice
- Working on defense of mass tort litigation, providing advice and guidance on complex legal issues
- Strong communication externally and internally, working closely with the wider practice group
- Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of client relationships
The Successful Applicant
The successful Appellate Attorney will have demonstrable experience including:
- Admitted to practice in NY
- 2-5 years relevant Appellate and Litigation defense experience
- Appellate and litigation defense experience, ideally mass tort experience including research and writing - drafting and arguing appeals and motion practices are important for this role
- Strong writing, organizational and time management skills
- Forward thinking, highly collaborative approach

- $100,000 - $150,000 PA base salary (depending on experience)
