Livingoods Inc is looking for a talented Appliance Installer to join our team! You will be responsible for the set-up and installation of household consumer goods.This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ideally, you have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.Responsibilities and DutiesFollow route and schedulePhysical ability to move large, bulky and heavy appliances.Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routesDeliver and install major household appliances (such as wall ovens, cook tops, dishwashers, etc.)Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicleCommunicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.Obtain DOT Certification and Follow DOT regulations and safety standardsMust be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.Qualifications and SkillsValid Driver's License with a clean recordMust be at least 18 years of ageThe ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstancesCabinetry or carpentry experience is desired.Light plumbing and light electrical experience is desired.Good communication and strong interpersonal skills, including written correspondence.Valid driver's license with a clear MVR (no DUIs or Reckless Driving). Reliable transportation is required.Must be able to successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background check.Must have your own tools.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
