Do you want to work for the leading independently owned appliance store in the Tri-State area?We are a growing business looking for qualified repair technicians.We are opening our 4th location in 2025 and want you to be a part of our team!Competitive Benefits offered within 30 days of employment.Skills and Abilities:Working knowledge of testing and repair tools and equipmentCritical thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, and negotiating skillsAbility to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat, and efficient mannerBasic computer, reading, and comprehension skillsKnowledge of safe work practicePay range - $25-35 hr(minimum of two year's experience)ScheduleMonday – FridayRotating Saturday'sPhysical RequirementsMay be required to work at customer sites or in store warehouse environment.Must be able to crawl, climb, bend, and squat.Must be comfortable working in hot, cold, and closed environments and able to lift 70 pounds on a regular basis.EOEDiagnose and repair all major appliancesRead schematics and research part replacementNavigate service software and vendor websitesDetermine warranty and non-warranty repairsPerform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specs in a timely and efficient mannerReplaces worn and defective parts such as switches, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, circuit boards, or defective wiring.Reassembles units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed.Observes and tests operation of appliances following installation, and makes any initial installation adjustments that are necessary.Demonstrate excellent time management skillsEfficiently communicate with service team and retail store managementEducate the customer on the product and service performedProtect the customer's propertyProficient use of the Package AI software programConsistently verify Model and Serial numbers on all work ordersParticipate in training opportunities designed to enhance knowledge and skillsKeep assigned vehicle clean and organized, maintaining proper inventoryOrder parts as neededrecblid yl90un5uqdnyohthymedyhugcppy5o
