We in the Clinical Research Informatics and Technology (CRIT) department are seeking a detailed and initiative-taking Application Analyst for a temporary position to join our dynamic team in CRIT! You will work closely with various units within the institution, including Human Resources, Clinical Research Operations Staff, as well as external biopharmaceutical clinical trial monitors and auditors, utilizing a REDCap data base and Microsoft Excel files for establishing secure remote access to the MSK Electronic Health Record. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure seamless application performance and user satisfaction.

You are!

  • Proven experience as an Application Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Diligence and good people skills.
  • Basic experience in operations management.

You will!

  • Provide daily support and troubleshooting for software applications used across the organization.
  • Maintain and update all phases of the monitoring set-up process using various systems and applications such as (MATS, PIMS, and MSK informatics ticketing system), and applications such as Excel and REDCap.
  • Monitor the Monitor Support Email inbox and manage incoming emails accordingly.
  • Assist in problem solving, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution.
  • Provide 100% service to both clinical research staff and external monitors and auditors involved in request, setup, and training processes.
  • Function as the liaison between HR, Helpdesk, and the Health Informatics Team during monitor and auditor configuration setup.
  • Assist in training end-users on application functionalities and best practices when requested.

You have:

  • Experience with REDCap or similar applications.
  • Background in clinical research or related fields.
  • Adaptive learner with the ability to adjust to and master new software and systems.
