Friday, December 6, 2024What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire an Application Developer within our Stored Value Solutions (SVS) division based in Louisville, Kentucky. In the role, the Application Developer will design, develop, and implement applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.How We WorkAs an Application Developer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in a hybrid environment at our Louisville, KY office locationFormal, hands-on trainingMonthly home internet stipendRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications or configuration of corporate application systems and servicesAnalyzing and designing application systems encompassing the development, modification, and translation of user requirementsPlanning, investigating, and proposing systems and application solutionsPreparing workflow for writing, testing, and maintaining computer programsPreparing program specifications and diagrams and developing coding logicEncoding, testing, debugging, and installing the operating program and procedures in coordination with Operations and Infrastructure DepartmentsCreating and updating user manuals and other documentationCorrecting, testing, and documenting changes to existing programsConducting training and presentationsSupporting existing applicationsNight and weekend rotation requiredQualifications & SkillsBachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent1-2 years of work experience in a related fieldHands-on experience in object-oriented languages/frameworks, relational database management systems, web technologies, and/or other software application development platformsAble to collaborate in a team environmentStay up to date with recent technology developments and application development best practicesConsults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectivesExcellent communication, design, and documentation skills are requiredCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
