We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Development Scientists to join our team Fremont California and Hyderabad India and drive the development of groundbreaking multiplex assays and multi-omics applications.
Position Overview:
As an Application Development Scientist specializing in spatial biology multiplex and multi-omics for precision oncology, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing advanced assays and analytical methods. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex biological data into actionable insights that drive the next generation of cancer diagnostics and treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assay Development: Design and develop innovative multiplex assays and multi-omics workflows for spatial biology applications with a focus on precision oncology.
Experimental Design: Plan and execute experiments to validate new technologies, optimize protocols, and troubleshoot issues related to assay performance and data quality.
Data Analysis: Utilize advanced bioinformatics tools and techniques to analyze multi-omics data, integrate spatial information, and derive meaningful insights for cancer research and clinical applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, clinical, and regulatory departments, to ensure alignment of development projects with strategic objectives and compliance requirements.
Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in spatial biology, multiplex technologies, and precision oncology. Provide expertise and guidance on the application of these technologies in research and clinical settings.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, data analysis, and results. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing technologies and processes. Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies that can enhance our capabilities and offerings.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or a related field with a strong focus on spatial biology and multi-omics.
Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and optimizing multiplex assays and multi-omics platforms, preferably within the context of precision oncology.
Strong proficiency in bioinformatics tools and data analysis techniques, including experience with spatial transcriptomics and multi-omics integration.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with high-throughput data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
