What You Will Do:
  • Develop technical proposals of how the organization's products and services can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with the customer's existing systems and equipment.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and respond to technical questions regarding the organization's product, system, or service.
  • Estimate the costs, resources, time, and technical requirements of modifying, configuring, and installing the organization's products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed according to customer needs.
  • Respond to customer questions and troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
  • Train customers on the features of the product or service they have purchased.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience
  • Expertise to provide technical advice during larger or difficult negotiations, or with customer who are of strategic importance to the organization.
  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and /or coworkers
  • Strong customer skills including the ability to explain and train.
  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
  • Work in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs
  • Work in an unsupervised environment
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Use a computer to communicate, create, and access data

  • Moving around the office: Moving between desk and file cabinets and/or office equipment.
  • Repetitive motion: Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal;
  • The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
