Akkodis is seeking an Application Lead for a Contract job with a client in Boston, MA (Remote). This role involves leading the design, development, and configuration of applications for the Empower Financials project, acting as the primary point of contact, and providing expertise in Adobe ColdFusion. Rate Range: $65/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Application Lead job responsibilities include:
- Leading the design, development, and configuration of applications for the Empower Financials project.
- Acting as the primary point of contact and overseeing the application development process.
- Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in Adobe ColdFusion and advising the team on technical decisions.
- Contributing to business area decisions, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Providing expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and ColdFusion to ensure high-quality application delivery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RESTful services and PL/SQL.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in ColdFusion, HTML, and JavaScript development.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe ColdFusion and experience with web application development.
- Strong understanding of PL/SQL, RESTful services, and web technologies.
