Job Description:

TDK Corporation of America is seeking a candidate for Application Management Support – Warehouse Systems, Level 1 IT for a position located in Lincolnshire, IL (Hybrid)

This candidate will join our Level 1 IT Support Analysts (DWS AMS) to form a dynamic and dedicated team that delivers exceptional Tier 1 support, to WH Application processes, Shipping systems applications and hardware like printers, scanner, weighing scale etc. Operating in a high-energy environment, our team is the first point of contact for WH and Logistic users, committed to providing support that consistently meets or exceeds expectations. With a focus on swift and effective problem resolution, they ensure an outstanding customer experience every time. The candidate is expected to Interact with the team in highly collaborative and cooperative environment.

To be considered for this job, candidate is required to have the following skills and experience:

Primary Responsibilities:

Work with IT and Global AMS Support teams to troubleshoot issues with Shipping systems application (Assist 4) and SAP ERP systems.

Contribute to the successful issue resolution by analyzing, researching, and solving application problems.

Daily Monitoring of WH and Logistics processes like picklist printing, IDOC, Goods Receive, Consignment error.

Handle multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on Warehouse operations.

Troubleshoot based on Help Desk Tickets and Incident report.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. This is essential in a fast-paced environment where downtime can impact operations.

Participate in scheduled downtime and maintenance of Shipping systems applications.

Serve as Tier1 & 2 support for WH hardware issues like mobile / desktop scanners, printers, weighing scales etc.

Participate in occasional afterhours/on call emergency support and problem resolution/management.

Coordinate with vendors to manage scheduled maintenance of existing hardware like scanners, printers and weighing scale.

Participation in Global AMS Support calls to discuss ongoing issues, project-based work/long term strategic implementations.

Install/Maintain endpoint hardware, software, peripherals.

Accurately analyze and communicate Customer Barcode label requirements.

Participate in Application Regression Testing

Perform, application management like Master File, Routes, Departure Calendar, and User Maintenance

Assist in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new and existing business applications and operating procedures.

Work with team lead and product owner to understand business requirements to ensure best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Collaborate with WH and Logistics teams to Identify bottlenecks and bugs and participate in devising solutions to mitigate and address these issues.

Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet business requirement.

Exhibit solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Exhibit excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Be self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting WH.

Experience with SAP.

Experience with Shipping systems applications.

Experience with Barcode Scanners, Barcode Printers (Sato, Zebra), Laser Printers.

Exposure to BarTender software.

Excellent communication skills are a must.

Experience with MDM solutions.

Basic understanding of WH operations

Skills that are a Plus:

Exposure to VDI technology like VMWare and Citrix.

Exposure to scripting language like VBA or PHP a plus.

Exposure to Barcode label design a plus.

Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Visio.

Cloud concepts knowledge is a plus.

Education:

4-year college degree is preferred.
