locationsFenton, MO time typeFull time posted onPosted 2 Days Ago job requisition idR12330 The Application Support Specialist provides efficient, functional first-level technical operations support. These responsibilities include but is not limited to: handling technical escalations and more advanced inquiries, daily application maintenance, testing new or adjusted functionality, documentation, training, and providing other ongoing support for multiple applications. May handle lower priority bugs, dispute resolutions, or triage.**Primary Responsibilities**

**60% Technical Operations Support**: Administers security rights to the system for end users. Monitors and manages the systems mailbox and fields phone calls for end users inquiries. Investigates and resolves production issues. When needed, involves the appropriate individuals from cross-functional support teams resolve issues. Provides cross-trained support for one or more other applications supported by the team. Provides end user training to the applications supported and/or processes surrounding the applications. Provides support to touchpoint applications teams both upstream and downstream from the supported applications. Balances the appropriate system components to touchpoint systems. Completes reports/metrics/analysis, when needed. Supports legacy and/or BU specific applications in a manner similar to the supported applications.

**30% Documentation**: May include any or all of the following depending on the applications supported: Tests changes/ enhancements/upgrades/new functionality to the applications. This includes screens, reports, processes, integrations, and interfaces. Maintains complete testing documentation as directed by manager. Creates and maintains systems reference documentation for the applications. Creates and maintains end user documentation for the applications. Provides other business support as requested by manager.

**10% Communication**: Communicates with business department SMEs to assure efficient system usage and follow correct application processes, etc. Escalates emergencies appropriately.

**Qualifications**

* Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred or equivalent Maritz experience.

* 2+ years of experience preferred along with 3+ years of demonstrated system support experience.

* Experience working in the support component of applications-vendor or proprietary required.

* Assignments are broad and usually require evaluation originality. May create or recommend changes in procedures. Usually works under minimum supervision. Work on projects is generally routine to moderate. Possesses and applies fundamental technical and business-related concepts.

* Knowledge of Maritz tools including Event enCor, Guest enCor, PARC, Guest Email Management, Guest Allowance Transfer, Program Guidelines, Supplier Portal, BudgetWise, MOC, and Maritz Enterprise Reporting preferred. Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office tools & ability to learn new technology quickly. Proven aptitude for technology and/or software solutions.

* Strong organizational skills and advanced knowledge of process documentation required.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize meeting multiple demands. Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and customer service skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
