Position Summary: The Applications Administrator is responsible for the strategic implementation, maintenance, and optimization of POS systems within the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of retail operations by providing reliable and efficient POS solutions. By collaborating closely with internal Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams, the Applications Administrator analyzes business requirements to develop and implement solutions that enhance sales productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. A deep understanding of Supply Chain, Planogram, space planning and data analysis functionalities, integrations, and industry best practices is essential for success. This position demands a strong focus on maintaining system integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. The Applications Administrator will play a key role in minimizing downtime, resolving technical issues, and providing ongoing support to end-users. To excel in this role, a proactive and analytical mindset is required, coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. These responsibilities require strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and collaboration with business users, team members, and technology leadership. The Application Administrator should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
Working Relationships: Applications Administrators regularly interact with the Director of Application Management, members of the Application Management team, and other roles within the IT department. The Applications Administrator will also work closely with business and technology partners to ensure process handoffs.
Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Related Discipline
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Related Discipline
Minimum Experience: 4+ years of end user support or consulting experience within the application of experience, Blue Yonder Platform In-Depth knowledge of modules and functionality, experience with integrating Blue Yonder with other systems using APIs, familiar with Application Servers such as Weblogic.
Preferred Experience: 6+ years of end user support or consulting experience, Blue Yonder
Licenses/Certifications: Microsoft Technology Associate, Infrastructure (ITIL) Foundations
Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills, desire to learn, effective team member
