We are seeking an energetic, highly-motivated, qualified Applications Specialist to support a dynamic Federal customer environment in Herndon, VA.

**What experience you need:**

* One year plus (1+) real world experience providing application support

* Knowledge of Windows desktop operating system

* Knowledge and experience working with ServiceNow service desk ticketing

**Desirable training/certifications:**

* Bachelors Degree

**What you will do:**

You will provide escalation support for a suite of commercial (IBM Tririga, Resolver, Tableau software) and custom-written applications. This will include the following:

* Provide users applications support for helpdesk tickets escalated to you; if needed, triage and collect more information before escalating to a project manager

* Aid IT project managers in troubleshooting, operations, testing, and implementation of these applications

* Follow-up on open tickets with users after a change has been completed to see if their issues have been resolved. Follow-up with project managers on open tickets in their queues

* Create PDFs/forms, and email templates

* Self-train on said applications

* Participate in and scribe project management meetings

* Complete other duties as assigned

**Clearance Requirements**

Ability to pass a corporate and Federal background check. Previous Federal Agency check (or higher) clearance preferred.

**Where you will do it**

You will work primarily in one location in Herndon, VA. Some telework may also be incorporated.

**Vaccination status**

As a credentialed Federal contractor, you are subject to the Executive Order requiring Covid vaccination.
