Job Description Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM plus an afterhours on-call rotation. Applicants hired into this position can work hybrid from WI and IL. This will be discussed during the interview process. Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking an Applications Developer to:
  • Support troubleshooting hardware and software for Med Flight operations
  • Provide secondary support to the following critical alerting and communication systems, which include: Hospital Paging Systems, Nurse Call, Real Time Locating Systems, and Remote Support Tools
  • Work cross functionally with the Information Services departments.
  • Possess excellent communication and documentation skills, working with staff members to provide updates to key stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain various Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Have basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL
  • Ability to think critically, learn continuously, share ideas, and contribute to a well established dynamic team

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field Required
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly Preferred
Work Experience
  • Demonstrated success troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose technical problems in large-scale implementations Required
  • Demonstrated success translating business needs into operational requirements. Required
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously Required
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Platforms such as: EMS Charts; Flight Vector; ServiceNow; (ITOM, Discovery, Event, CMDB); Spok; Stanley MobileView RTLS (Real Time Location System); Twilio; Bomgar and xMatters Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Network infrastructure services: installation, architecture, design, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a primarily Cisco equipped infrastructure Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Designing, implementation and support of server infrastructure including physical servers, virtual servers, virtualization technologies, and infrastructure support tools Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Managing, supporting, and maintaining server hardware, operating systems, and software in a Windows and Linux based environment Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Basic knowledge of SQL; writing queries and understanding of how databases are structured Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Experience/understanding of multiple radio frequency and real-time locating technologies Preferred
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a Healthcare setting and/or experience in Understanding of IT Operations and Service Management best practice and the ITIL Framework Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Applicable Cisco Certifications, PMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL Preferred
