Your Role on the Team:We're looking for an experienced and versatile Application Engineer who is hungry to bring CF3D to market. We have an exciting opportunity to redefine how composites are designed and manufactured with this cutting-edge technology. As an application engineer at Continuous Composites, you will execute on customer driven composite design and manufacturing projects centered around CF3D. You will be a technical expert who will develop and educate the market on design for CF3D and best practices through projects, white papers, technical customer meetings, and conferences. - Acquire, at a deep implementation level, hands-on technical knowledge of the CF3D products and technologies
- Develop new applications and manufacturing techniques for Continuous Fiber composite components to drive industry adoption from proof of concept to commercialization
- Interact with the Continuous Composites product marketing and development team to provide market feedback on features and capabilities that should be incorporated into future products based on voice of customer
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Execute on cutting-edge customer projects using internal CF3D machines and resources
- Develop unique fiber path strategies for CF3D parts and use a combination of CAD and CF3D toolpathing software to generate part programs
- Define design for CF3D guidelines and best practices for the industry
- Develop technical marketing materials including white papers and presentations to help educate the market. Support sales as needed during the technical portions of the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with customers to draft statements of work using CF3D and then manage the project from beginning to end including design reviews, proof of concepts, testing, implementation, and reporting
Qualifications:
- Engineering Bachelor's degree, 5-10 years related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
