Applications EngineerAn innovative, expanding, international company rooted in the Annapolis/Kent Island area of Marylandis looking for a talented, experienced, customer facing professional to fill their Applications Engineeringrole. This individual will become the resident expert on company products and offerings to help developand recommend solutions. This positionwill report directly to the Technical Operations Manager or Engineering Manager depending onexperience.Responsibilities:Works closely with New Sales team and Engineering to support internal and customer needsReviews market research to recommend necessary product developmentAssures product information is accurate in company systemsProvides technical expertise to Sales team to assist with review of specifications, generatingfinal sales specifications, bid proposals and quote detailsParticipates in customer meetings and visits where needed in support of the Sales TeamProposes custom solutions that align with customer goalsCreates and conducts product demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on trials in support ofthe Sales TeamEnsures all required specifications and applicable industry standards have been met, whilefollowing all quality processesCollaborates with Procurement in supplier sourcing, and provides recommendations on productlines, vendors, and components to execute new designs and changesPrioritizes tasks throughout multiple job responsibilitiesSupports internal company operations and initiativesOther job duties as assignedEducation and Experience:BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required3 years minimum related experience in compressed air and gas or similar industryClear understanding of CTO (Configured to Order) and ETO (Engineered to Order) strategiesMust have experience working in a team environmentDemonstrates skills working directly with internal and external customersAbility to multi-task and prioritize, within high-paced environmentAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPointClear understanding of project flows and manufacturing processesCapable of critical thinking and working autonomously between teamsTechnical documentation creation and review requiredExperience working under ISO9001 preferredCRM and inventory management software experience preferredBenefits and Compensation:Salary commensurate with experienceFull medical and dental benefits, paid vacations and holidays, 401k, plus performance bonusGrowth opportunities are available
