The Applications Engineer is responsible for working closely with the Product Managers to support application designs on assigned product lines. This role focus' on technical sales support by working with customers, providing pricing and quotes, responding to technical questions, and working with customers by training on products. You will make an impact in this role by:
- Responsible for project management of new application designs and requirements as specified by customers.
- Interacts and coordinates designs with Design Engineering.
- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing processes relative to the assigned product line.
- Provides technical training to manufacturing and quality staff.
- Writes technical specifications for equipment.
- Technically evaluates bids for from vendors. Analyzes and interprets customer technical requirements from customer inquiries and specifications.
- Will work as a support role for Product Managers.
- Coordinates with Operations to ensure quoted product is viable.
- Provides technical support to Marketing regarding sales inquiries, equipment application, and engineering analysis.

- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to use database software, design software, Project Management software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.

Requirements To be considered for the Applications Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.
- Associates degree is required; bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred, ME preferred.
- SAP experience is a plus.
