Bruker Optics is seeking an Applications Scientist specializing in Raman Imaging. This role involves collaborating with the commercial team to conduct demonstrations and serve as a technical expert during pre- and post-sales activities. The position is remote and entails frequent travel, including up to 10% international travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with researchers and specialists in Raman microscopy
  • Conduct both on-site and virtual demonstrations for customers, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities.

  • Maintain extensive technical expertise in Raman Microscopy and associated techniques.

  • Manage existing applications and identify new opportunities for Raman microscopy and imaging.
  • Collaborate with global sales teams to present and sell Bruker products and solutions.

  • Provide technical, applicative, and strategic consulting to international customers and the global sales team.
  • Work closely with R&D, application, and production teams

Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in natural sciences or engineering.
  • Practical and theoretical experience with Raman Spectroscopy & Microscopy. Experience in related techniques such as AFM, TERS, FT-IR spectroscopy would be beneficial
  • Hands-on experience with Ion Mobility Spectrometry is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Bruker instruments and software is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective work with customers and in-house personnel.
  • This is a remote position that requires frequent travel, including up to 10% of international travel.
