Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) is seeking Application/System Specialist support for a new client at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. We are seeking an Application/System Specialist to support in the disciplines as listed, but not limited to, below:
- Work closely with business application stakeholder(s) to define and document requirements.
- Create and collaborate in decision documentation by researching new technologies and offering critical analysis of pros and cons, considering the best fit for business application.
- Establish technical requirements by leveraging existing capabilities, user stories, and/or functional requirements.
- Create User stories supporting requirements for use in the technical refresh effort.
- Full Stack analysis of current SW frameworks, DB architectures, etc.
- Ensure Performance and security while meeting requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines meeting Government and CECOM/SEC requirements.
- Incorporate Coding standards and modern testing practices (unit testing, load testing, etc.).
- Develop new code using selected technical stack that meets coding and scanning standards.
- Given a desired outcome, able to identify and complete the work required without supervision.
- Provides guidance to others for resolving problems and completing complex tasks.
- Provides expertise in the implementation and use of a specific software application or information technology system product or suite of products.
- Performs product installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Performs user support and problem resolution.
- Provides recommendations and training on using the product to meet organizational goals.
- Holds and maintains product specific certifications and credentials
- Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto
- Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management
Years of experience required Three (3) additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications/relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. (Total 7 yrs experience) Experience and comfortability with Agile best practices Experience with high volumes of users and application optimization Strong customer support ability Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional technical troubleshooting skills (applications, services, servers, networking, etc.) Experience developing cloud-based applications Education requirements A bachelor's degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline + 4 years of relevant experience all within the last 4 years.
