Position: Trademark ParalegalLocation: New York, NYFull Time: Yes (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 + Full Benefits
Role Overview
This position supports trademark prosecution, clearance, and enforcement activities across domestic and international jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented approach, and familiarity with a high-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trademark Filings: Prepare and submit trademark applications, statements of use, amendments, assignments, renewals, and other essential filings with the USPTO and foreign jurisdictions.
- Clearance Searches: Conduct clearance searches using trademark databases, analyze results, and identify any potential conflicts.
- Docket Management: Maintain and track trademark deadlines, ensuring timely updates and monitoring.
- Client Communication: Provide clients with updates on ongoing matters, respond to inquiries, and communicate directly regarding trademark statuses.
- Litigation Support: Assist in litigation and enforcement tasks, including preparing exhibits, organizing discovery materials, and conducting relevant research.
- Departmental Support: Assist with additional projects and tasks to support the overall success of the trademark team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years of trademark paralegal experience, with a focus on U.S. and foreign filings, oppositions, and trademark clearance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in CPI, SAEGIS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); database experience is a plus.
