Loenbro, LLC is looking for electrical apprentice. Individuals with an affinity to working with materials, working with your hands and desire for learning.Position Overview: The Apprentice Electrician, under the direction of the Master Electrician, is responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of commercial electrical equipment and systems. This position will be responsible for following the directions of the Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical maintenance and repair work.Job Duties:* The Electrician Apprentice will assist the Electrician with basic tasks* Complete Maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. Testing malfunctioning equipment, identifying defects, troubleshooting, repairing equipment and replacing defective parts.* Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify an resolve problems.* Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.* Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.* Up-dates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.Skills/Qualifications:* 2-4 years of electrical apprenticeship preferred* Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes* Possessing the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals* Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.* Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.* Basic computer knowledge is required.* Must be 18 years of age or older.Potential Hazards:* Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures* Fit and move in confined spaces* Limited working surfaces* Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors* Exposure to areas with limited visibilityBenefits: Loenbro offers a competitive salary, benefit package & perks to those who join our team.*
