Our apprenticeship program is designed to help you gain hands-on experience and develop the skills you need to become a fully licensed Journeyman Plumber. Our team of licensed technicians is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and experience to handle all plumbing needs, from water heater repair to backflow system services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential plumbing systems.
- Learn to troubleshoot plumbing issues such as clogged drains, leaks, and water heater problems.
- Help with routine tasks, including pipe cutting, fittings, and system installations.
- Assist in water heater repair and installation, backflow system services, and comprehensive sewer services.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly organized.
- Follow safety protocols and local plumbing codes on every job site.
- Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction to gain a deeper understanding of the plumbing trade.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong desire to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a long-term career in plumbing.
- Good mechanical skills and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to take direction and work well with a team.
- Willingness to work in a variety of conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
