Union Pacific Train Dispatchers collectively handle over 30,000 miles of track and coordinate the movement of more than 800 trains and thousands of field employees throughout our rail network! Our Train Dispatchers direct the safe transportation of freight and commuter trains throughout our railroad. As a Train Dispatcher, you will assess and implement the transportation plan of moving trains through varying weather conditions, topography, and rail construction projects.Train Dispatchers are strong communicators who thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
