Collectively, NV's interlocking programs are designed to bolster the capacity of the early education and care system, in Massachusetts and across the country, to: 1) Recruit, retain, and develop a professional workforce of early educators and administrators, 2) Support educator professional development and program quality to promote excellence in education and ensure that children reach developmental and literacy milestones, and 3) Meet the full-scope wraparound needs of vulnerable children and families to ensure that they enter classrooms ready to learn and to thrive. Job Description: Neighborhood Villages currently operates two apprenticeship programs: one for new ECE teachers looking to get their CDA, and one for lead teachers who are aspiring to be leaders and administrators. The Apprenticeship Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Apprenticeship Program and will report to Neighborhood Villages' Director of Apprenticeships. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Apprenticeship Program, including recruitment and registration of program participants; serving as point of contact for participants, their mentors, and employers; collecting and organizing required paperwork; and providing technical assistance for participants throughout the program. The Apprenticeship Program Coordinator will ensure participants enrolled in the program have a seamless experience from start to finish. Candidates should be self-directed, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director of Workforce Programs and the Director of Apprenticeships to determine how best to support apprentices, mentors, and employers
  • Recruit and register participants into Neighborhood Villages' Apprenticeship Program
  • Ensure that enrollment targets are met or exceeded for each training series
  • Schedule and coordinate training series with multiple training partners
  • Support training partners in onboarding and orienting program participants
  • Provide technical support to participants regarding how to access online trainings and required materials
  • Coordinate the provision of key materials, such as laptops and textbooks, to apprentices
  • Work with partner organizations to distribute and collect evaluation materials, pre- and post-training
  • Support apprentices and mentors in filling out their Work Process Plan, receiving Related Technical Instruction, and completing On the Job Learning
  • Coordinate regular community of practice meetings for apprentices and mentors
  • Keep apprentice, mentor, and employer records up to date
  • Assist in fulfilling the reporting requirements of our funders
  • Complete other responsibilities related to the NV Apprenticeship Program
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of program management experience preferred
  • Strong analytic and data systems management skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office and familiarity with database systems
  • Exceptional ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish strongly preferred
Compensation and Benefits: Neighborhood Villages is committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the professional qualifications and responsibilities of its staff. The starting annual salary for this role is $60,000.
