Discover more at: or About Maddox + You: We are seeking an experienced AR Collections Coordinator to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer account collections, with responsibilities including customer engagement, managing payment disputes, setting policy procedures and liaison with external counsel. This position provides opportunities to grow with the AR team as well as the finance & accounting team. More about You: Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of AR open and aged customer balances
- High professionalism when managing and responding to customer payment disputes and inquiries
- Open communication and collaboration with internal partners for resolution of billing questions or disputes
- Proactively following up with customers' aged receivables
- Maintain detailed customer payment records
- Researching and recording customer payments
Experience & Education:
- Minimum High School Degree. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in AR and collections or customer service
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Google Suite.
