Job Description:As a GIS developer, you will be configuring and developing custom Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10x, 11x (JavaScript API, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub, Field Maps) applications. Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Enterprise: Experience with versions 10x and 11x, including JavaScript API, Experience Builder, ArcGIS Portal/Online/Hub, and Field Maps.
  • Web Development Skills: Ability to develop customized web applications, web services, and mobile solutions.
  • GIS Development: Experience in developing geoprocessing and GIS web services, as well as GIS web editing/mapping applications.
  • Integration Skills: Ability to integrate GIS solutions within .NET-based applications, client databases (Oracle/Oracle Exadata, SQL Server), data warehouses (Oracle Exadata), and enterprise reporting tools (OBIEE, Data Visualizer, Power BI).
  • Programming and Development: Strong skills in designing, coding, testing, modifying, and debugging software and applications.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis: Ability to research and analyze program or systems problems, provide resolutions, and complete documentation.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Experience in translating business requirements into secure, commented, and maintainable code.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work closely with IT team members (database, network, server), management, architects, developers, and business units.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing of applications.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades: Skills in maintaining existing applications/services and upgrading/migrating them to current versions/systems architecture.
  • End User Support: Ability to provide end user support and create support documentation.
  • Estimation and Design: Experience in estimating work effort and proposing/designing development solutions.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Best Practices: Familiarity with internal SDLC, standards, and accepted best practices for developed solutions.
  • GIS Services and Database Development: Experience in developing enterprise GIS services, applications, and databases.
  • Technical Coordination: Ability to coordinate with client, server, network, and database/data warehouse personnel to support and develop IT solutions.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
