The Account Executive - Channel Sales will be responsible for selling company products, systems, and services in assigned territory (or assigned partner) through indirect sales channels such as VARs, distributor and retailer.Principal Accountabilities:
- Manages existing channel partners.
- Works with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities.
- Provides channel partner feedback to the company to match market needs with company products.
- Identifies and qualifies new distributors.
- Develops, motivates and coordinates Archer sales team and Channel sales team to optimize sales execution.
- Interfaces with the channel to ensure that service level agreements are met.
- Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Supports accounts or territories of moderate complexity.
- Gains access and manages relationships with distributor managers.
- Interfaces directly with channel partners to ensure satisfaction with solutions and maintain a positive ongoing relationship.
- Occasional coaching/mentoring required.
- Articulates how our business model relates to selling our products and services.
- In-depth understanding of the Go to Market strategy and value proposition.
- Point of contact but may escalate customer issues/concerns as appropriate.
Skills:
- Basic oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership.
Education & Experience:
- Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role with a Bachelor's degree.
- Additional criteria for Outside Sales: Typically require 2+ years of field sales experience.
