Job DescriptionYour Role The IT Corporate Services team's goal is to provide premier technology solutions and services to our internal business partners. We are looking for an Application Developer who enjoys driving, building, and partnering the new way to deliver transformative results. The Application Developer, Consultant will report to the IT Development Resource Manager within the Corporate Services team. In this role you will be responsible for design, development, testing and implementation for the Archer Application to solve business objectives and support end user needs. You will need to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the application and will be responsible for software application configuration and maintenance. Your Work In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for day-to-day technical administration of the Archer platform; lead the administration of items such as system configuration, creation and maintenance of data feeds, in-depth advanced workflow & creation of reports and dashboards, etc.
- Provide development / configuration leadership based on technical requirements
- Own technical issues/problem resolution and request management
- Execute test cases and document them
- Support User Acceptance Tests and implement code into production
- Define/configure questionnaires/workflows/forms/reports in Archer
- Participate in and support Archer version upgrades
- Install, test and deploy new applications in Archer
- Work with service management and infrastructure teams as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Conduct in-person and online training sessions and demonstrations for stakeholders as appropriate
- Own support when Production issues occur
- Drive resolution for solution related issues through the course of application lifecycle
QualificationsYour Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar, or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience, preferably working as an Archer Administrator
- Expert Archer Certified Administrator preferred
- 5+ years of implementation and integration experience at the expert level
- Experience working with databases and managing multiple data feeds
- Experience integrating with other management tools
- Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, research, and follow-up skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- 100% Development and unit testing moderate code complexity for new enhancements and to fix defects based on detailed specifications
Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $ 118800.00 to $ 178200.00 for California. Note: Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade.
