Abonmarche is seeking an Architecture Operations Manager in our Kalamazoo, MI office. Job Summary: The Architecture Operations Manager will coordinate activities related to production, operations, and quality assurance on architecture projects. This will include developing and monitoring quality and production standards and ensuring these standards are met and maintained for all design and contract documents. The Architecture Operations Manager will be knowledgeable of the entire architectural process and possess managerial capability to lead and direct activities of all project team members while monitoring technical production on projects to ensure adherence to quality standards and high productivity. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the architecture, interior design, and BIM staff. • Coordinate with the Kalamazoo Director of Architecture. • Align resources to meet existing and future project deadlines. • Lead the planning and implementation of appropriate staff allocations, schedules, and project timelines. • Oversee workload and provide guidance to the team, including identifying current and future training opportunities to achieve goals and increase performance. • Implement and enforce uniform company standards. • Develop best practices for Architecture Project Managers and Staff. • Collaborate with and foster positive relationships with inter-departmental and cross discipline teams and consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and vendors. • Implement technologies and best practices to improve efficiency, quality and revenue. Education: • Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture. Licensure/Certification/Registration: • Licensed Architect in the State of Michigan or Indiana; or working toward licensure preferred. • AIA membership preferred. Work Experience/Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of related job experience. • Extensive knowledge of CAD/BIM technologies. • Project Management experience. • Software experience with Autodesk Suite, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office products and Building Information Management best practices and protocols, is preferred. • Excellent communication, decision making, and problem-solving skills. • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and operate in a team environment. • Ability to provide flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple offices and states.
