Position Overview

We seek a talented, experienced Architect to join our team in Mount Holly, NJ. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong technical skills and a passion for design. A New Jersey Registered Professional License is preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work on various public sector projects, contributing to impactful architectural designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development:

  • Create architectural designs that align with client requirements and project specifications.
  • Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and Grasshopper for design and modeling.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with clients, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
  • Support and be integral to the Architectural/Engineering Team throughout all project phases.

Project Oversight:

  • Develop and evaluate project plans, design criteria, and construction details.
  • Conduct construction estimating and budgeting to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to facilitate project success.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities and engage in business development activities to secure new projects and foster client relationships.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in architectural modeling and design.
  • Experience preparing design documents and specifications for public sector projects.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other tools such as ArchiCAD, Grasshopper, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Licensure:

  • A registered Architect with a New Jersey License is preferred.
